This project was tendered as 2 packages of works in 2 separate building and was part of the initial STEM Works (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which was being rolled out by the State Government. This is part of a state wide shift in the way in which students at every level of schooling develop knowledge, skills and understanding in STEM subjects.
The works also incorporated physics and chemistry facilities and the refurbishment and redevelopment of a technology workshop, full refurbishment of science laboratories, digital photography room, presentation space, classrooms, sound room and teacher areas.
This work was carried out within an operating school environment over a number of terms, while ensuring minimal disruption to teaching and learning and maintaining a high level of safety to students and teachers while works were underway.
